This is required if you are traveling through international waters or out of the boundaries of the United States. The laws are different for every cruise so you should check into the requirements before you book a trip. There are many things that stop people from being able to enjoy a trip like this because they cannot get a passport. These things include being backed up on child support or having another reason you cannot leave the country.
The cruise ship is the most important factor when you are planning a cruise vacation with your family. You might find a boat that goes to all of the destinations of your dreams but if it isn’t kid friendly or spends too much time out to sea you might want to rethink which ship you take.
